Family Fun Friday: Bugs and Blooms

Ever wonder which insects are good for your garden and which insects are not? Would you like to learn about some basics for helping the environment that you can practice right in your backyard with your family helping out? Then this program is for you! Discover the important roles insects and native plants play in the Chesapeake Bay ecosystem and create a nature-inspired craft! Fun is sure to be had with our bug-themed games and activities.

Family Fun Friday events at the Calvert Marine Museum are designed for families with children ages 5-12. They are a chance to enjoy the museum and a special program with activities and crafts that begin before the museum is open to the public.
All programs run 9 - 11 a.m.
Please keep in mind this is not a drop-off program.
