**To attend this program, you must register through the York Land Trust website: https://www.yorklandtrust.org/event/family-friendly-tomato-seed-starting-workshop/**Join YLT staff and three Maine Master Gardeners for a fun, hands-on, family-friendly tomato seed starting workshop! We’ll cover the basics of starting tomato seeds and walk through how to plant and care for your future seedling. Each participant will go home with a planted tomato seed in a newspaper pot. Wear clothes that can get a little dirty!
Please bring a can of soup or vegetables to wrap the newspaper around – this will serve as the form for your newspaper pot. At the end of the program, we will collect the group’s cans and donate them to the food pantry. All other materials provided.
