Join June Jo Lee - author, TED Talk speaker, and food ethnographer - as she leads families through a whole new way to appreciate vegetables and explore flavor.Tackling food literacy head-on, June Jo gives families the tools to explore food with curiosity: how to taste, question, and figure out what they do (and don't) like.
At this Awesome Sauce pop-up, attendees will create their own signature sauce - spicy, sweet, mild, or bold - while discovering how flavor carries stories across families, cultures, and generations.
Inspired by the upcoming (Fall 2026) picture book, Kimchi Taco Time, by June Jo Lee, author and food ethnographer.
