About this Event

Join us in celebration of the bold, defiant, and often overlooked women of the nineteenth century. We’re partnering with the Dead Ladies Show to explore the stories behind Charlotte Canda’s magnificent tomb, a monument to a life tragically cut short; the colorful adventures of Lola Montez, whose daring career as a dancer and courtesan captivated royalty; and Anna Leah Fox, a spiritualist at the heart of the Victorian séance craze. Along the way, we’ll hear about other women who defied societal norms and shaped their times in unexpected ways.

is a NYC and Berlin-based podcast and live storytelling event series that celebrates the lives, legacies, and lasting impact of remarkable women from history.
