9am Monday 22nd September - 3pm Thursday 25th September with parents invited to join us at 2pm to watch their campers ride one last time.
Teen camp is run at our farm, Falling Creek Ranch, which is 15km east of Wanganui.
There will be riding everyday, including treks, challenges on horseback, games etc as well as a ton of other activities too.
Each cabin has a friend of ours who is a leader and there is also adult supervision throughout. Make some amazing new friends, enjoy time in the great outdoors, good food and loads of fun.
Bus pick-ups and drop-offs can be arranged. We enjoy three homemade meals each day as well as snacks and of course canteen once a day. (campers can bring $10-$20 cash for canteen)
Some of the things we could do… barrel races, damsels in distress, mud wrestling, swimming, catching fresh water crayfish, making huts to sleep out in, stockwork on horseback, a trek over the neighbours farm, bush bashing, pole bending, lighting a fire with a flint and steel and natural bush materials, campfire cooking, crafts, treks, capture the flag, bonfire, hardman challenges, whip cracking, lassoing, raft building and races, night ride, spotlight, waterfight, archery, air rifles and more…

You can bring your own horse if it is fit to hilly country and a confident horse or use one of ours. We will put you on a horse to match your size and ability. All equipment is supplied with our horses.
During the camp you will be taught how to care for and ride your horse (tailored to individual’s experience) as well as gain confidence through farm treks and games.
To register online, please go to our website: fallingcreekranch.co.nz and look under 'our camps' then 'registration forms'. Submit this and then once your deposit is paid (putting your campers name as a reference) your campers place will be secured.
Full camp fees are $430 (plus up to $20 cash on drop off for canteen) A non refundable $100 deposit is required to secure your place and the balance is required 5 days before camp begins.
