Transition into fall with a blissful yin practice.
Join Barbara with this gentle, meditative Yin yoga practice. The postures are held in stillness for extended periods of time allowing an exploration of deeper layers of the body and mind. They apply a gentle pressure to the connective tissues of the body, improving and restoring circulation and mobility in the joints.
The practice will be earthy and grounding, incorporating breathing and meditation so we can embrace the wisdom of the cool and windy fall season.
Some yin yoga experience is recommended.
Please bring:
Mat, small towel, bolster or pillow and refillable water bottle

About Barbara:
Discovering yoga and becoming a teacher were life changing gifts for Barbara. She loves teaching and sharing yoga experiences with her students.

Since becoming a certified yoga instructor in 2009, Barbara has
continued to broaden her knowledge and enhance her abilities through additional training and workshops. She weaves these insights gained from her Hatha, Yin, Restorative and Meditation training throughout her classes.

Barbara believes that yoga is for everyone no matter what age and ability. Her classes emphasize presence, inner focus, concentration, safe alignment and accessibility, building strength and flexibility in body and mind and expanding beyond perceived or actual limitations. She encourages her students to appreciate their uniqueness with an open heart.
