Fall Oil Painting Workshop

Alla prima, Italian for "at first attempt", is a direct oil painting method where paint is applied in a single sitting. In this workshop, students will use this technique to paint a vibrant still life of pumpkins and sunflowers from a photo reference. We'll cover color mixing, effective block-in methods, and wet-on-wet blending. By the end, you'll leave with a completed painting and a solid introduction to this expressive, fast-paced way to paint.
