A salute to the 100th anniversary of the creation of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) presented by military historian and retired teacher Dave Alexander.
Many locals answered the call of duty joining the RCAF during the Second World War. They will be featured in this lecture providing insights into the RCAF Women’s Division, the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan, Ferry Command, Bomber Command and Fighter Command.
Lecture included with regular admission. Grey Roots members attend free of charge.
