Fall Festival of History and Nature

The Meriden Land Trust, Meriden Linear Trails, and the Quinnipiac River Watershed Association have collaborated to offer this free public event on October 17, 2026. Please come celebrate history and nature with us! Featuring an exciting demonstration from 11-12 of a river watershed, where we learn about the living river system and how to help it thrive. From 12-1, we're offering an incredible visit from rehabilitated birds of prey where we meet real live raptors and learn how to protect them. A guided nature walk will be held from 1-3, where we stroll on the beautiful autumn Linear Trail and learn all the secrets of the forest. Also, all day, we'll have Revolutionary War reenactments, and there will be free refreshments in the QRWA headquarters. Updates to come! Check back as the date is closer for updates. Rain date 10/18.
