Fall BARK -- Read with a Therapy Dog

BARK (Bismarck Animals Reading with Kids) is for kids who want practice reading with non-judgmental listeners -- dogs! The library offers this special program with local therapy dogs and their handlers. Independent readers in Grades K through 5 sign up to read aloud to a dog for 20 minutes (with a handler present).
Parents must sign a waiver prior to the reading session. To register, contact Youth Services at 701-355-1489.

Each event date has designated reading times that must be reserved in advance (children can sign up for two reading times).
