Come taste the wild harvest of the fall! To our ancestors of temperate climates, this season was the most bountiful of the year, when trees released their yearly crop of nuts and fruits, and when root vegetables fed by the summer sun were finally ready to dig. Some autumn delicacies have a short season, but others persist through the winter, and still others are available only in the coldest months. This class will cover foraging safety, the basics of plant identification, and the best plants to harvest in the fall and winter. By the end, you will be ready to forage these plants on your own, incorporate them into your diet, and delve deeper into the craft of foraging. Donations are welcome but never required! The recommended donation is $10. Please donate at https://tinyurl.com/FCUUPS. Write in your donation amount, select frequency, and add the note “FC – Blake”
