PROGRAMME DATES:
GIRLS: 13th, 14th, 20th, 21st, 27th, 28th of AUGUST (Thursdays & Fridays only)
BOYS: 3rd, 10th, 17th, 18th, 24th, 25th of AUGUST (Mondays & Tuesdays only)
PROGRAMME FINALE: Exhibition & Showcase on Sat 29th of AUGUST at The Karibu Education Centre
Faith in Arts is a unique creative programme delivered by Solution Focused World in partnership with Vocals Only and Ameenah Cheryl, bringing together creativity and Islamic values in a safe, supportive and inspiring environment.
The programme has been designed to help young people explore identity, character and positive self-expression while developing confidence, creativity and leadership through the arts.
Working in gender-specific groups, participants will take part in a range of engaging creative activities that encourage teamwork, reflection and personal growth, all within an Islamic framework that promotes dignity, respect and good character.
Throughout the programme, participants will be reminded that creativity is a blessing from Allah and that our talents can be used to benefit ourselves, our families and our wider communities.
As Allah says in the Qur'an:
"Indeed, Allah commands justice, excellence and giving to relatives and forbids immorality, bad conduct and oppression." (Surah An-Nahl 16:90)

Throughout the programme, participants will develop:

Exhibition & Creative Showcase
The programme concludes with Faith in Arts: A Celebration of Creativity, Character & Community.
Families and invited guests will experience a community exhibition showcasing the creative work produced throughout the programme, alongside youth-led performances celebrating the participants' learning, creativity and personal growth.
This is more than an exhibition.
It is a community conversation.
An opportunity to witness the creativity, confidence and potential of our young people.
