Celebrating Ballet Rambert - remembering Mim
About this Event
In London, during the summer of 1926, the first performances by a group of young dancers took place, guided by one remarkable woman, Marie Rambert.
As the company she founded turns one hundred, we gather together dancers who performed under her directorship in the 1960s to listen to their stories, in celebration of 'Mim' and Ballet Rambert.
Hosted by Alexander Simpkins City Lit ballet teacher with Jane Pritchard, Curator of Dance at the V&A and former Rambert archivist.
Event includes display of archival materials and drinks reception following talks.
