A gentle and profoundly healing movement and meditation class. Let me take you on a journey of fairytale and magic!
Story has an incredible way of reconnecting us with our perspective of child like wonder and belief in the impossible. It allows us to view the complexities within life and relationship challenges from a viewpoint free from our chattering ego and thoughts.
What you can expect:
🗝️A safe tranquil space where you can be still and quiet, without the pressure of having to interact. Instead the encouragement will be focused on you engaging with the sensation of your soul.
🗝️You will first be guided into a relaxed state with a special technique to move your focus from your mind and to your heart as we relax into the space.
🗝️I will tell you a story as you are reminded of the feeling of being held safely to dream and to believe in the unseen. You will also be guided into connecting with your inner child in a non intrusive or triggering way.
🗝️We will begin to move our body in tune with the story, through gentle yoga stretches. If you haven’t done yoga before or are uncomfortable with that word, then be reassured that this is much like stretches to release parts of the body that are holding tension and to instil a sense of freedom physically.
🗝️Enchanting music will take us further into the land of fantasy as we move.
🗝️We will follow into step movements, fully guided and again with the purpose of connecting with the story and freeing stagnant energy within the body. There is no need to concern yourself with whether you are ‘coordinated or can dance’ here- this is simply to awaken our soul to the surface.
🗝️We will flow through some self created movement to release old patterns and beliefs, in a gentle way.
🗝️Land back down onto the mat as we enter the phase of deep relaxation and integrate the freedom we have created.
🗝️The journey will conclude as we look further into the story and the meaning and lessons that we have learnt.
🗝️Leave feeling a sense of self connection, healing and improved confidence in your own heart and voice.
