FAIRY TALE S.T.E.M."Jack and the Beanstalk"

The Ukiah Branch Library invites school-aged children from kindergarten through 5th grade to join us in the children’s room for a three-month series of fairy tale-themed S.T.E.M. projects, where we’ll use practical science, technology, engineering and/or math principles to make fairy tales come alive! We’ll start on Friday April 24 with “Jack and the Beanstalk,” followed by the “Three Billy Goats Gruff” on Friday May 29, and ending with the “Three Little Pigs” on Friday June 26. All events will start at 3:30 p.m. and will run for approximately one hour.

La Biblioteca Sucursal de Ukiah invita a niños de Kinder a grado 5 a unirse a nosotros en la sala infantil para una serie de tres meses de proyectos STEM con temática de cuentos de hadas. En ellos, usaremos principios de ciencia, tecnología, ingeniería y matemáticas para darles vida. Comenzaremos el viernes 24 de abril de 2026 con Jack y las habichuelas mágicas, seguido de Los tres cabritos gruñones el viernes 29 de mayo de 2026 y terminaremos con Los tres cerditos el viernes 26 de junio de 2026. Los eventos comenzarán a las 3:30 p.m. y tendrán una duración aproximada de una hora.
