Raise and Shine FREC Sibshop

Description: Join us at Raise & Shine Family Resource and Empowerment Center for a fun and supportive Sibshop event! Sibshops are workshops for siblings of individuals with a disability to connect, have fun, and learn from each other. It's a great opportunity to meet other siblings who share similar experiences and build friendships. Children should come ready to participate in activities, games, and discussions in a safe and inclusive environment. Don't miss out on this chance to bond with other siblings and have a great time! For children ages 8-14. Lunch will be provided. This event is bilingual in English and Spanish and is free for families from Mendocino County. Facilitated by trained Sibshop facilitator, Maria Fuentes.

Descripción: Únase con nosotros en el centro de recursos Raise & Shine Family Resource and Empowerment Center para un taller de apoyo, Sibshop! Los Sibshops son talleres para hermanos de individuos con discapacidades para conectar, divertirse, y aprender de otros. Es una gran oportunidad para conocer a otros hermanos que comparten experiencias similares y fortalecer amistades. Niños deberían llegar listos para participar en actividades, juegos y discusiones en un ambiente seguro e inclusivo. ¡No se pierda de esta oportunidad para tomar tiempo con otros hermanos y divertirse! Para niños de edades 8-14. Se habrá almuerzo proporcionado. Este evento es bilingüe en inglés y español y es gratis para familias del condado de Mendocino. Este taller es facilitado por Maria Fuentes que es una facilitadora de Sibshops.
