About this Event

Join the 3rd annual Fairy Garden Picnic - a gathering to celebrate queerness in nature and our role in our ecosystem. You'll leave hopefully making a couple friends, learning about environmental and queer issues in Alberta - and how you can take action.

Queerness is part of nature - and is here to stay. Put your best fairy outfit on, and celebrate queerness alongside nature and the mythos of the fae folk whose homes are being impacted by a mass industrialized human society. Connect with 2SLGBTQ+ organizations across amiskwaciy waskahikan protecting the fae folk while making crafts to take home, enjoying charcuterie, fairy potion mocktails, games, and more!

This event is a casual place to connect with local organizations that are protecting queer rights, and advocating for a more just future for all.

There will be food, drinks, snacks, and activities!!
