And just like that, it's Fail Fast time again. Fancy trying your hand at making a film right quick and messy like? Get involved!
In this writing session, we use exercises to hammer out a short script in just two hours. Like the proverbial typewriting monkeys, we recklessly fling our ideas around to see what sticks - the catch is that we then challenge ourselves to film the chosen script in a scant four hours...
This is only the first half of the workshop (the filming is a separate session later in the month), but any members are welcome to join in with any part of the event.
This is a great opportunity to churn up those creative juices. Believe it or not, some genuinely good ideas have come out of these sessions! Meanwhile the filming session offers real, practical on-set experience in a fun, pressure free environment - A chance to get some of those early mistakes out of the way without them spoiling anybody's passion-project.
Every member needs to bring along an item from home to use as a writing prompt - weird or totally banal, it doesn't matter, it's just to get some ideas going.
