Fabric Wrapped Frame Workshop in Hoboken | Studio Abode
About this Event
Create a custom fabric-wrapped picture frame at Studio Abode's beautiful new space in Hoboken! To celebrate our launch, we're offering special early launch pricing for a limited time.
This beginner-friendly, two-hour workshop is curated and led by an interior designer whose mission is to help you create elevated pieces you'll be proud to display in your home. During the first portion of the workshop, you'll receive step-by-step instruction as you transform a blank picture frame using your choice of fabric. The second and final portion will be dedicated to allowing you to freely create a custom artwork insert to complete your piece.
Please note: This event is for guests ages 18+ and is NOT BYOB. All materials included, frame is ready to take home after workshop.
WHAT'S INCLUDED?
- 1 picture frame that is 8"x10" with a mat for 5"x7" or 4"x6" pictures
- An assortment of hand-selected patterned fabrics to use
- A wide variety of paints to use
- An assortment of stickers to use
- 1 mocktail of your choice or sparkling water
- **Feel free to bring your own 5"x7" or 4"x6"picture or art to frame
IMPORTANT EVENT & STUDIO INFORMATION:
- All craft skill levels are welcomed, especially beginners.
- When our events are not being hosted, this studio space is occasionally shared with a dog portrait photographer. While we always maintain a super clean environment, we recommend keeping this in mind when planning your visit if you have allergies to dogs.
- Our building does not have an elevator. We are located on the second floor, one flight of stairs up from the entrance.
- Our building (1012 Grand) does not have a private parking lot, so please consider the following options when arriving to Hoboken:
- Centerpark Harlow Parking Garage (Next to Trader Joe’s) ~8 min walk
- Impark Monroe Center Parking Lot 32 (Attached to 770 House) ~11 min walk
- Street parking through the Park Mobile App
- NJ Transit 126 Bus from Port Authority that stops at 14th St & Park Ave ~7 min walk
- Hoboken PATH station ~ 24 minute walk
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Tickets for this workshop are non-refundable. Please make sure to double-check your calendar before purchasing. If you can no longer attend, you are allowed to reschedule to another workshop of the same kind occurring on a future date. Tickets can also be transferred to someone else.
