Join us at our first annual Tabletop Appreciation Day event, where we get all of our friends and fans together to play games and raise money for Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
Extra life is a year-long fundraising campaign started by the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals as a way to "Change Kids’ Health to Change the Future". We are teaming up with them, as well as Geeky Teas and Games in Burbank California to host a one day event open to everyone who wants to come join us, play games, and raise money and awareness while having a blast at the same time.
The store opens at 11 AM, and everyone is invited to join us. You do not need to purchase a ticket or register for this event beforehand, but there is a $5 per person admission charge from Geeky Teas to be able to come in and enjoy their store/games. You only have to pay it once to enjoy the space the entire day, and you do have in and out priviliges, so you can leave and come back if you need to for any reason.
A more in-depth schedule will be getting published closer to the event day, but there will be a demo/playthrough of the 10th Anniversary Edition of Firefly: The Game that you will not want to miss. You are more than welcome to bring your own games to play, and Geeky Teas has an extensive library to borrow from while you are there.
