About this Event
Join us to learn about clothing in the 16th and 17th Centuries. Have a look at documents including probate inventories showing different styles of Tudor dress, see how Helen Hoyte created sketches of the individuals detailed using the descriptions of their clothing. Get a close look at the costumes created by our talented volunteers, the Tudor Tailors, and hear about the weaving industry in Norwich.
At the end of the session, you have the opportunity to create your own Tudor outfit, either as a sketch/design or to fit a peg doll.
All materials will be provided.
This event is part of Creativity and Wellbeing week.
