Explorers Playgroup at North Sydney Community Centre

Designed specifically for kids under 5 years old, Explorers Playgroup offers a variety of exciting and educational activities to stimulate your little ones’ minds and imaginations. With a supportive and nurturing environment, our playgroup provides the perfect place for children and carers to grow and make new friends.
Term 3 Activities

• Week 1: Christmas in July – Celebrate with a festive home corner experience
• Week 2: Camping Adventure (NEW THEME!) – Explore our campfire sensory bin and bug rescue activity
• Week 3: Supermarket – Enjoy imaginative play and a colourful salt sensory tray.
• Week 4: Dinosaurs – Discover dinosaur-themed sensory play and celebrate National Science Week!
• Week 5: Space – Explore the wonders of space with our moon dust sensory activity.
• Week 6: Fairytale & Dress-Up – Dress up, play and celebrate Book Week (22–28 August) with magical activities.
• Week 7: Construction – Get creative with building activities and make a special Father’s Day craft.
• Week 8: Post Office – Enjoy imaginative play and a fun stamping fine motor activity.
• Week 9: Pirates & Under the Sea – Explore ocean adventures and sensory play.
• Week 10: Restaurant – Pretend play and a delicious ice cream sensory experience.

• Explorers Playgroup runs Monday to Thursday, from 9:30am to 12:00pm, during school terms only.
