Money.
What are the inhibitions, fears and assumptions about money in therapy?
Why can it be so hard to approach?
In this workshop you are encouraged to bring your questions and struggles. Together we will explore what money means in our clinical work considering our own experiences and theories from psychoanalysis, sociology and politics.
Led by Ally Kessler.
Ally Kessler is a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist, Training Therapist and Supervisor. Ally has spent many years thinking and teaching about the impact of money, and lack thereof on psychotherapy. She founded Orchard St Therapy which works with GP practices to provide free, short term work to those who would otherwise be unable to access it, and is the lead of the Low Cost Therapy group which develops programmes to widen the accessibility of both long and short term psychotherapy.
