Join our welcoming international and intergenerational French language community in Bristol and practise your speaking skills in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. At our monthly French Breakfast, you can enjoy a French-style breakfast with a croissant and a hot drink whilst you chat! ☕🥐

⭐ 𝗡𝗘𝗫𝗧 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗨𝗣: Saturday 11th July at 11AM
On Saturday 11th July, the French discussion theme will be shopping, cafés & restaurants in French-speaking countries 🛍️🍷🥐 We’ll focus on all the useful French you might need while shopping, ordering food or going out for drinks in a French-speaking country 🇫🇷 How do you ask for your size? Order politely in a café? Understand a menu? Ask for the bill? Complain politely? Or simply survive a busy French bakery? 👀
This session will also adapt to different levels:
• Beginners will learn essential vocabulary and useful survival phrases for shops, cafés, restaurants and bars.
• Intermediate learners will revise practical expressions and role-play real-life situations.
• Advanced speakers will debate cultural differences around food, service, shopping habits and social etiquette in different countries.
Expect lots of speaking practice, role plays and useful real-life vocabulary!

𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗜𝘀 𝗜𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝗿? Whether you're studying French, haven't spoken the language for years, or currently learning, our French Breakfast is a perfect opportunity to practise your speaking and listening! Every month, we offer a new topic to discuss. It's great to refresh your memory or learn something new and handy.
This conversation class is now 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘀, though we do expect you to be able to form simple sentences in order to participate!
