The Work
My work is a very safe container; you will be guided on an experiential journey with the intention of empowering you and awakening you to your highest potential and purpose in life. Unexpressed emotions can be heavy weights we carry around and hide, out of fear or shame or many other reasons. They can ultimately lead to dis-ease and eventually disease. This work is spring cleaning for the body and soul and has the potential to transform your life and the lives of people around you.In this workshop especially I draw upon my experience working as a doctor. I have seen many people die, young and old, and I have helped and supported many people in extremis. I bring this depth of experience to my work now, even though I am no longer practising as a doctor, I carry that wisdom of supporting people in the process of grief.
A few aspects to consider:
- There will be a lamenting ceremony inspired by the tradition of keening. You do not need to be a "singer" to participate.
- There will be herbal tea and biscuity snacks provided.
- Everything is confidential
- You will be safe and it is ok to feel scared when approaching this work.
- Please bring your mug and special milk if you like milk in tea.
- Wear something you can move in, bring layers, a journal, pen, your mug, a full water bottle and an open heart.
- Clear space in your diary for the next week to let this work land.
- Bring a friend, sibling or parent and share the process in community.
- Hearty hugs will be available if needed
