About this Event

Join us for the fifth annual conference hosted by Attuned in Practice at Nano Nagle Place on the 15th of October 2024. This year’s theme, “Beginnings and Endings in Practice,” offers a unique opportunity for practitioners to reflect on their work and gain valuable insights from key speakers who are specialists in their fields. This conference is open to all frontline practitioners and managers working in public, private, or community roles in healthcare, social care, and education.

It aims to create a safe space and time for you to gather with other practitioners as a community, to reflect on the values and sense of mission and purpose that drew you to your work in the first place, and how you can reconnect with this to stay motivated and well.

There will be a series of stimulating presentations given throughout the day by speakers, including Prof. Nicola Doherty, a Clinical Psychologist who specialises in early intervention and support for medically fragile babies and their families; Dr. Tim Dartington, a former researcher at the Tavistock Institute and author of the book “Managing Vulnerability: The Underlying Dynamics of Systems of Care”; and Siân Brown, a renowned music therapist and sound healer who uses the power of music to promote healing and transformation.

The cost of this one-day event is €80. Certificates are available for all attendees, providing 5.5 CPD hours.

Places are limited so bookings will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.

This is the fifth in a series of collaborative initiatives by Attuned in Practice (formerly the Heart of Frontline Practice), a collaborative voluntary alliance to raise awareness of the perception and realities of frontline practice. Our focus is on enabling practitioners from all disciplines to develop and sustain reflective practice.
