Experimental Painting Workshop

Join me, artist and qualified art teacher, for this relaxed afternoon workshop. It is an invitation to let go of perfection and rediscover the joy of painting through various techniques, curiosity, and experimentation.

Rather than focusing on finished results, we’ll explore mark-making, layering, texture, colour, and intuitive techniques using a variety of materials. You’ll be encouraged to work freely, follow your instincts, and respond to what unfolds on the canvas.

This session is perfect if you:

• Feel stuck or intimidated by painting
• Want to loosen up your creative practice
• Love experimenting and trying new approaches
• You are a complete beginner or an experienced artist needing fresh inspiration

All materials are provided, and we will experiment with various techniques and materials — but there are no rules, no pressure, and no expectations. Just time, space, and permission to play.

Through exploring on paper, you will then pick your favourite design to make into a larger abstract canvas piece.

Tickets are £25 each (plus booking fee), this includes all art materials, tea, coffee and biscuits.
