Exhibition Opening: “BROKEN LIVES AND FLOWERS”, on Tuesday, 10 November 2026, from 12:30 to 13:30 at the European Parliament, 3rd Floor, Distribution Centre Area, Brussels.
Maria Kulikovska will present an installation exploring vulnerability, displacement, and survival. Combining crutches, bullets, and the figure of an unfinished mother, the work transforms the exhibition space into a fragile shelter, where the artist’s performance becomes an integral part of the installation. Visitors are invited to step over her bullet-covered body, confronting the fragility of human rights, memory, and emotion. The work asks whether shelter and healing can emerge from the very things that cause destruction.
The opening will be followed by a networking cocktail at the Grand Café Spinelli (Former Members’ Bar).
