Exhibition and Panel discussion – Discussing Food insecurity in Oxford

This will be the last in our series of panel discussions tackling a key issue in our 2025 Touring Show "Seed Guardians." In conversation with OX4 Food Crew and local community growers.

OX4 Food Crew is a collaborative network of local organisations and volunteers dedicated to addressing food inequality in the OX4 area of Oxford. Our mission is to ensure that everyone in our community has access to healthy, nourishing, and culturally appropriate food, regardless of their circumstances.

At the heart of their work is the belief that access to good food is a basic human right, and that communities thrive when people come together to share, learn, and support one another. Through partnerships with local charities, schools, and grassroots projects, OX4 Food Crew fosters a strong sense of community while tackling social isolation, food poverty, and inequality.

Whether it’s serving a hot meal, distributing fresh groceries, or running a cooking session for young people and families, OX4 Food Crew is committed to creating a healthier, more connected, and resilient OX4 community one meal at a time.
