Exhale: A Breathwork Experience in the Salt Cave
Salinair Salt Room Spa • Rochester Hills, MI | Wednesday, Jun 24 • 06:00 PM - 07:30 PM EDT
Most people have not taken a full, intentional breath in months. Not because they forgot how, but because life keeps moving and the body just follows along, tight and shallow and running on fumes.
On June 24th from 6:00 to 7:30pm, Salinair Salt Room Spa is hosting Exhale: A Breathwork Experience in the Salt Cave, a small group session with only 6 spots, led by of Metamorphose Breathwork.
What you are walking into
Marty is one of those facilitators who makes you feel safe the moment he starts talking. His clients come in stressed, anxious, and physically wound tight, and they leave feeling like something in their body finally let go. He knows how to hold a space where that kind of release is possible, and he is bringing that into the salt cave.
The Power of Elemental Rhythm Techniques: A Science-Backed Approach to Wellness
Elemental Rhythm Techniques are an integrative practice combining breathwork, gentle movement, and meditation to enhance both mental and physical health. Grounded in scientific research, these practices are effective in managing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and PTSD. Studies show that these techniques also improve heart rate variability, a key indicator of resilience and overall well-being.
One of the core benefits of Elemental Rythm Technique practices is their ability to regulate the nervous system, creating a calming effect that reduces the body's stress response. By activating the parasympathetic nervous system, breathwork helps lower cortisol levels and promotes feelings of relaxation and safety. In turn, this reduces the symptoms of stress-related conditions, making it a valuable tool for those struggling with chronic stress or trauma.
These methods also foster emotional balance and mental clarity. Practitioners often report an improved ability to focus, manage emotions, and stay present in their daily lives. Elemental Rhythm techniques work by using the breath to connect the body and mind, allowing individuals to release tension, stabilize their mood, and achieve deeper states of meditation.
The science behind this practice continues to evolve. Current research explores its applications in diverse fields, including trauma recovery, mental health, cardiovascular health, and even immune function. With growing evidence, these techniques are proving to be a versatile, non-invasive way to support long-term wellness and resilience.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kimberly
"Beautiful experience. The session was such an ideal gift to myself. Thank you Marty for creating such an amazing space for connecting to the divine within."
How the session works
For the first 45 minutes you will experience halotherapy while Marty guides you. A medical-grade halogenerator fills the cave with dry salt particles and as you breathe them in, your airways begin to open. Salt is naturally antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial, and a single session supports:
- Clearer breathing and reduced congestion
- Relief for asthma, allergies, and sinus issues
- Reduced inflammation in the lungs and airways
- Deeper physical calm and relaxation
- Skin health and immune support
A standalone halotherapy session at Salinair Salt Room Spa is valued at $50 and it is fully included in this experience.
Once your airways are open and your body has started to settle, Marty guides you through the breathwork portion. The two work together, your lungs are already clear and receptive, so the breathwork lands deeper and the release comes more naturally.
What to bring and what to expect
You will lie on a yoga mat with a blanket in a room with five other people. That is all you need. Because breathwork uses a specific breathing technique, everyone who registers receives a short intro video to watch beforehand. It takes a few minutes and means you arrive comfortable and ready from the start.
