Everest The Hard Way – 50th Anniversary of Chris Bonington’s South West Face British Everest Expedition with David Nightingale.David will give us the inside story from the 1975 Expedition, with access to fantastic images from Sir Chris Bonington, Doug Scott and others, many of which had never been seen in public before.
This show is open to all and free to all, regardless of whether you are a Rucksack Club member or not. Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 7.30pm voluntary donations and a raffle in support of a different climbing related charity at each event.
If you like your slideshow accompanied with a little refreshment, you can bring your own booze, and the Summit Up cafe will be serving brews, cakes and pizza before the show.
If you can’t make it in person, the shows will also all be on Zoom so you can enjoy them from the comfort of your sofa.
