This walk will be about 5km/3 miles and we will allow 1 1/2 hours. Please wear head torches/lights/reflective gear. We will walk on well lit paths. If you or someone you love have been affected by cancer, you are welcome to join us. Walk and talk with others who have lived experience, who can understand where you’re coming from. Walking can have many positive effects on physical and mental health, please check with your health professionals before undertaking any new or different exercise.
Depending on the success of this walk we hope to recruit new Walk Leaders to enable the walk to take place on a more regular basis. If you are interested in training as a Walk Leader, please get in touch, training is free and you receive ongoing support.
