Evening Total Beginners Dressmaking Classes

Classes are held at my studio in Ellerton upon Swale near Scorton on Monday Evenings. This course is suitable for total beginners. I provide sewing machines and overlockers. You will learn basic processes and techniques specific to Dressmaking, learn how to read and follow commercial patterns and how to fit garments to yourself. At the start of each new module you will be taught a range of processes that will be used to make the garment, starting with a pair of palazzo trousers or pyjama bottoms. Following on from that a sweatshirt, lined skirt, make a top, a lined dress , stretch items, learn how to handle tricky fabrics, simple jacket/cardigan , etc..
