About this Event

This workshop will take place at "All Things Bright" 26 Market Place, Richmond DL10 4QG. Please note this is an UPSTAIRS venue, accessed only by stairs.

WHAT ARE WE GOING TO BE DOING?
  • Creating x4 funky decor pieces using Jesmonite
  • x2 tapered candle holders
  • x1 wavy bud vase
  • x1 round pen or plant pot
  • Learn and master the techniques of Colour Blocking, Terrazzo and Marbling

In this 2-hour workshop you will be taught step by step, with demo’s how to create using Jesmonite & its techniques.

It will be a messy process so bring an apron/large shirt if you want to keep your clothes clean - Jesmonite doesn't always wash out in the washing machine and Jesmonite Pigment can stain, so beware.

Best of all, because Jesmonite is quick to set, you will be able to take your creations home with you at the end of the workshop!

TO SUMMARISE

- Easy step by step guidance to make your own items - materials are all provided.

- Add your personal touch and creativity using various colours.

- Take your creations home at the end of the session, keep for yourself or give it to someone special.

- Group size max 12 people.

- Jesmonite kits will be available to purchase at the workshops for any attendees who may want to continue their experimentation or give the kit as a gift to someone!

If you have any queries or concerns, please contact us at [email protected], we will get back to you swiftly & do our best to respond in depth.

WHAT IS JESMONITE?

Jesmonite is a non-toxic, eco-friendly, water-based resin used to create many kinds of decorative homeware, art, furniture & more! It comes as a two part separated mix of powder & liquid which at 1-2.5 ratio is mixed together to form a milky mixture. Naturally Jesmonite has an off white colour to it, so coloured pigments are used to give tone & hue to the mixture which is then poured into silicone moulds, where it cures & becomes a beautifully, unique item!

Cancellations between 27 and 14 days before the event: I will refund half the ticket price, minus the Eventbrite fee (approx. 11% of the ticket price), or will transfer your booking to a future event, if available.

Cancellations less than 14 days before the event: no refund or transfer.

Note: I’m a small business owner whose income depends entirely on workshops and markets. My events are small-scale and my costs and time invested remain the same whether the workshop is full or not. I always advertise my events with plenty of time to promote and sell tickets – and tickets tend to sell in the first week of publication.

I want try to strike a balance between being fair to participants, and not selling myself short or ending up making a financial loss. That’s why I don’t refund tickets within 14 days of an event, as it’s very unlikely I will be able to resell the ticket at short notice. Thank you for your understanding and for supporting small businesses.
