Evening ride from the Supension Bridge to Lady Bay and West Bridgford

Join us for a leisurely women’s bike ride from the suspension bridge along quiet roads and cycle paths. We will cycle down the river and take in some of the canal and quieter roads of West Bridgford. The route is flat and around 6 miles.

We welcome women of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, we ride at the pace of the slowest rider, stop for breaks whenever you want and promise you will never be alone at the back! One of us will lead, and another will stay at the back so we stick together as a group.

You’ll be in safe hands. We are qualified ride leaders and first aiders who love cycling. Before and during the ride we will be sharing all the tips and tricks to get the most out of cycling.

This ride is organised by Women in Tandem, a Community Interest Company based in Nottingham that aims to support and empower women to ride bikes. The session is funded by The National Lottery Reaching Communities Fund.

You won’t need anything fancy; just a bike that rides, comfortable weather-appropriate clothing, water, snacks and some enthusiasm for cycling!
