Group ride from our workshop on cycle paths and quiet roads. Everyone Welcome!The prelude to our handover party.... a celebratory bike ride!
Open to anyone who wants to say goodbye to Lily & Steph and welcome our new Managing Directors; Emily & Sarah.
Meet us at our workshop from 9.45 ready to ride at 10am for a 7 mile loop along cycle paths quiet roads, Nottingham Canal, Victoria Embankment, The River Trent and back up past Nottingham Castle. This is a great ride for kids also and anyone who wants to have fun on bikes.
Symbolically Lily & Steph will lead the ride out to the Embankment and Emily & Sarah will lead the ride back to the workshop.
We welcome people of all genders, ages, abilities and backgrounds, we ride at the pace of the slowest rider, stop for breaks whenever you want and promise you will never be alone at the back! One of us will lead, and another will stay at the back so we stick together as a group.

You'll be in safe hands. We are qualified ride leaders and first aiders who love cycling. Before and during the ride we will be sharing all the tips and tricks to get the most out of cycling.
This ride is organised by Women in Tandem, a Community Interest Company based in Nottingham that aims to support and empower women to ride bikes. This ride is funded by the National Lottery Reaching Communities project.
You won't need anything fancy; just a bike that rides, comfortable weather-appropriate clothing, water, snacks and some enthusiasm for cycling!
