EU-Canada Relations in a Changing World: Bridging Transatlantic Futures - Toronto
About this Event
Over the past decade, the EU and Canada have transformed a trade relationship into something far more ambitious. From the landmark CETA agreement to the Strategic Partnership Agreement (SPA), cooperation now spans the green and digital transitions, critical raw materials, research and innovation, and security - culminating in the historic Security and Defense Partnership signed in June 2025. As geopolitical uncertainty deepens and Canada recalibrates its relationship with the United States, this transatlantic alliance has never mattered more. This talk will deep dive into the geopolitics of Europe and its relationship with Canada in the light of the changing dynamics of world politics.
