Our much-loved mums’ getaway last year was such a highlight that we’re planning more escapes for 2026 – and this evening is where it all begins.Join us for a relaxed, mums-only getaway planning night hosted at our sponsor Travel Associates Cleveland, where you’ll enjoy drinks, hear proposed travel ideas, and help shape our 2026 Social Mums Club getaways.
Marlena from Travel Associates is currently developing two potential getaway options, designed especially with busy mums in mind:
- A cosy winter two-night escape in June (with options such as Maleny or Toowoomba – think wineries, fireplaces, relaxed mornings and good company)
- An end-of-year three-night cruise in October, the perfect way to celebrate and unwind after a big year
On the night, we’ll:
- Chat through the proposed itineraries
- Discuss and vote on the getaway options
- Firm up preferred dates
- Offer the opportunity to secure your place with a deposit on the night (optional, but recommended to lock in pricing and availability)
- Meet and connect with the other mums who are keen to travel together
This evening is obligation-free – you’re welcome to come along simply to hear the ideas and see if one (or both!) of the getaways feels right for you.

Here's what we do to ensure you feel as comfortable as possible at Social Mums Club Events…
- We tend to keep our events small - so you don't have to walk into a big group
- We have really clear signage, and the host wears a bright pink t-shirt so you can easily spot us - you don't have to worry that you might be in the wrong place or with the wrong group
- Our events are never cliquey - the ladies at the event are usually meeting for the very first time, so you will not be the only person who doesn't know anyone
- You can come early - we know the hardest part about turning up to an event is walking in. We invite anyone who is anxious to reach out to the host and turn up 15 minutes early so you are the first one there. You can sit next to the host too.
- We ensure you feel included - another fear is that nobody will talk to you or you'll feel awkward or different. Our hosts are experts at making every attendee feel welcome and included. You will feel at ease with us.
