Have you ever been curious about ESP and telepathy? You are in for a treat! Come for a morning chat with Dr Dianne Cartwright and leave a little bit smarter. Her book, ‘Telepathy, our lost sense’ is all about neuroscience and mind-to-mind communication with another person without using our ‘normal’ senses.Free event. Bookings required.
About the book:
In ‘Telepathy, our lost sense: Neuroscience sheds light on ESP’ you might be surprised to learn that many people have telepathic ability, but there has been misunderstanding and persecution of such people over the centuries.
Surprisingly, almost eighty percent of the author’s patients had received or sent a “thought message” at some time during their lives. Their stories provided clues as to the nature of a telepathic message. The new techniques and discoveries of neuroscience shed light on how our brain receives and transmits telepathic messages.
The book interweaves a journey through our electrical bodies, our magnetic sense, brain-computer interfacing, neuroscience, the research conducted for the CIA and the experiences of ordinary people who had contact with loved ones at the time of death, dreamed of places they later visited, were warned of danger or simply said “I was just thinking of you” when a friend phoned after months or years.
About the author:
Dr Dianne Cartwright studied at the University of Queensland and obtained degrees in both Science, Medicine and a Fellowship of the RACGP, and spent many happy years working as a GP in Cairns. QLD.
