About this Event
Medicine of the Starry Heavens's Stories from Stardust presents...
Eros & Psyche:
The Marriage of Body to Light
An Experimental Telling of the Classic Myth
~with embodiment led by Anna Day of The Rooted Oracle~
***
Come journey with us as we court the mythworld and the subtle relational body. This will be an evening of story, ritual, and connectivity as we inhabit one of the old myths of the indigenous Mediterranean heart. Psyche & Eros, the light of our consciousness and the erotic of our creature body, the original alchemical pair, braid together all that makes us human: love, desire, longing, envy, deception, descent, heartbreak, remembering & redemption. A story for these grief-stricken and transformative times, these times that are testing the timbers of our hearts.
This evening will be co-hosted with Anna Day of The Rooted Oracle as we weave this story with connection, embodiment, and relational integration.
This will be a taste of our upcoming 9-month Morning Star program...
"Temple of Venus: The Mythopoetics & Somatics of Loving"
...where each month from November to July, we will enter a new pillar of the heart, deepening our relational awareness and attunement towards the unfolding of a fuller love. Guided by Frank Salzano and Anna Day.
Tickets for Temple of Venus available Wed. 9/30 - join for any or all sessions!

What is Stories from Stardust?
A one of a kind story-telling, stargazing deep-dive that braids together myth, cosmology & poetics with intellectual history, cultural remembering, practical astronomy & heart-centered teachings. These events are a form of ritual attunement that weave together imagination, landscape, cross-cultural star-lore, wonder, ancient perceptions & an alchemical courting of the night sky. I tell stories the way our ancestors did: under the night sky, around a fire, along shorelines, communing with the treasure trove of constellational images and folklore that is our starry heavens. Doing it this way is an inheritance that reaches deep into an embodied culture of belonging and plucks the long-forgotten heartstrings of the human psyche.
