About this Event

South African photographer Ernest Cole was one of the first to reveal the realities of apartheid. Forced into exile in 1967, he spent the rest of his life in displacement. The film retraces his artistic journey, his anger at Western silence, and the extraordinary rediscovery of 60,000 of his lost negatives in 2017.
