Agenda
Depth of Field and Hyperfocal Distance

Info: Learn how aperture affects depth of field and how to ensure front-to-back sharpness in your landscape images. We’ll explore the concept of hyperfocal distance and show you how to calculate and apply it for maximum sharpness. Practical exercises will help solidify these principles in real-world scenarios.

Composition for Landscape & Travel Photography

Info: Discover how to create dynamic, engaging images using proven compositional techniques like leading lines, rule of thirds, and visual balance. We’ll also cover how to build depth in your images and use natural elements to frame your subject. This module includes guided composition challenges in the field.

HDR & Panoramas

Info: Master how to capture high dynamic range (HDR) images to handle tricky lighting conditions and how to shoot seamless panoramas. You’ll learn bracketing techniques, exposure blending tips, and best practices for panoramic alignment. These skills are perfect for capturing wide vistas and dramatic skies.

Filters – ND, Polarizer & Graduated ND

Info: Get hands-on with neutral density (ND), graduated ND, and polarizing filters to manage exposure and enhance colour and contrast. This module will teach you when and how to use each filter for stunning results, including silky water and rich blue skies. You'll also learn how to mount and stack filters effectively.

Wrap-Up & Q&A

Info: We’ll review the key takeaways from the day and address any lingering questions. This is also your chance to receive personalized feedback from your coach and talk next steps in your photography journey. Stay connected with our community and certification pathway options.
