Erin Harpe and Jim Countryman Country Blues Duo returns to the Porch on February 4th (Jim’s b-day) for BBQ, blues & booze! The Country Blues Duo (they like to call it “CBD” for short — cause it’s good for what ails ya!) plus special guests will serenade you from 1-4pm. Bring your dancin’ shoes! Free (tips appreciated), all ages!

Erin Harpe has been playing country blues since she was a kid, getting her chops from her virtuoso dad, roots/blues musician & Stella guitar expert Neil Harpe. The award-winning bandleader (Erin Harpe & the Delta Swingers, Lovewhip) learned the blues sitting at the knees of the greats at Archie’s Barbershop, DC’s epicenter of the Piedmont Blues. Erin's Country Blues Duo features her exceptional finger-style acoustic guitar playing & vocals, backed by her partner Jim Countryman on ukulele bass and vocals.
