About this Event

This is a training day for clergy and lay leaders in the Diocese of Oxford.

Building on our previous Environmental Theology training day, this offers more in-depth training connecting environmental issues with mission, theology, and action. Margot Hodson Director of Theology and Education at The John Ray Initiative and Dr Martin Hodson, Principal Tutor for Christian Rural and Environmental Studies (CRES), who have researched and taught in this area for many years, will give an overview of the science and theology involved. The Environment Programme Manager at CHO, Hannah Mann and Environment Programme Coordinator, Alison Riggs, will give presentations on diocesan resources and approaches that can be of help to parishes wishing to take action.

For more information please contact Revd David Pickering, IME2 Tutor: [email protected]. Final information will be sent out a week beforehand and usually involves about half an hour of preparation.

ARRIVAL FROM 9.30 AM. PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING A PACKED LUNCH
