About this Event
Booking for any session allows you to attend any Young Creatives Social. You do not need to book a ticket for every session.
Swing by on Thursday evenings to develop your portfolio, build a creative community and explore professional pathways in a fun and relaxed environment. These free sessions, designed to kick-start your career or further studies in the arts. Aged 16-18yrs.
Here's an overview of our upcoming events:
Thursday 11 June: Olivia Plender – Linocut Workshop
Explore Olivia Plender: Little Fennel’s Complaint before learning lino printing techniques and carving your own botanical-inspired print block.
Thursday 18 June: Linocut Workshop
Continue experimenting with lino printing through collaborative and individual printmaking inspired by Olivia Plender’s exhibition.
Thursday 25 June: Figurative Drawing
Respond to Unspeak the Chorus through large-scale figurative drawing inspired by sculpture, movement and space.
Thursday 2 July: Casting Workshop with Kira Freije
Work directly with Turner Prize-nominated artist Kira Freije and learn the alginate and plaster casting techniques used in her sculptural practice.
