We are very excited to be working with many organisations around the country to host six EQuiChip® events this year, with the second on the 26th of July in Cambridge.EQuiChip® is our national equine microchipping campaign. The events are wonderful community-driven events where local equine community and vet clinics can come together to work on identifying and protecting the NZ horse population. Each one-day event will provide microchipping and registration on the New Zealand Companion Animal Register (NZCAR) for a small administration fee ($15 for one horse, $20 for a second and two-horse-limit). A big thank you to MSD Animal Health for signing up to sponsor these events with their temperature-reading microchips, Thermochip®.
Bring your horse or pony to any of our six events. Our team of vets, vet techs and nurses will provide microchipping services and NZCAR registration to ensure the safety and easy identification of your horses. It is a quick and easy procedure.
