About this Event
You might be seeing Enneagram memes all over social media, have taken a test as part of work 'team-building' event, or be saying Ennea-what?
If your curiosity has led you here, welcome.
The Enneagram is a powerful tool for helping us identify our patterns and behaviors, and understand why we do the things we do. It goes beyond personality and digs into our ego structure. This isn't just another personality test, it doesn't define who you are and what you will do in your life, and it doesn't put you in a box. This psycho-spiritual tool helps you see the box your ego keeps you in, and how to remember the way out.
Yes, this can get a little ouchy and uncomfortable. You are safe and held, keep going.
We are already whole. We all come with gifts to offer the world. Our defenses are so intelligent and are done out of pure love, and yet can block us from our gifts. Sometimes we know that our reactions aren't serving us anymore. And sometimes we can't see how defended we are, because it has been there for so long and it doesn't feel like a choice. Together we will gently explore what keeps us stuck, and see how we can give ourselves love to connect with our essential nature.
In this workshop we will:
-Cover what the Enneagram is, and what it isn't
-Explore two major triadic lens of the Enneagram: Centers of Intelligence and the Stances (Hornevian Groups)
-Discuss each Enneagram type - it's core desire, fear, passion, common characteristics, gifts, arrows and wings
-Feel the Enneagram centers, energies, and types within our bodies, hearts, and minds
This workshop is for you if:
-You have never heard of the Enneagram and are curious to learn more about the tool and yourself
-You have heard of the Enneagram and aren't quite sure of your type
-You have taken a test or been typed and aren't sure if it fits, or haven't dug in to fully understand it for yourself
-You know about your type and are interested in diving in more to learn about the other types
For parents and caregivers specifically, understanding the Enneagram can help shed light on the subconscious patterns and beliefs that come out automatically in your habits, see and understand what might activate you within parenting and be an opportunity to offer yourself healing, and to gain greater awareness of the ways that children have different perspectives than their parents.
The Enneagram helps us understand ourselves and others, helps us live in a more open and intuitive way, helps us embody more Presence With Love.
