It will be quite interesting to walk down the Ghats to find out the evolution of this city and its associated stories. This is one of the old areas of the city, thriving long before the British started consolidating their position. The river Hooghly played a dominant role all along.
Starting place: Sri Sri Nageshwar Mahadev Mandir (35, Strand Road, Kolkata 700001). This is opposite to Armenian Ferry Ghat. Please check the number of Strand road, as GPS location will take you one stop before.
