Biography of Khenpo Sonam Norbu:
In 2010, he received the Lopon Degree (Master of Buddhist Philosophy and Practice) conferredby His Holiness Tenzin Gyatso. In 2011, he was awarded the title of Khenpo (Doctorate in Buddhist Philosophy and Practice) by Karma Kuchen Rinpoche.
A dedicated scholar, teacher, and practitioner, Khenpo Sonam Norbu has taught Buddhist philosophy at various monastic institutions and successfully completed the traditional three-year meditation retreat from 2016 to 2019.
Since 2021, he has served as the President of Ngagyur Palyul Ling Monastery and the Ngagyur Kama Tradition Preservation Association, actively promoting Buddhist education, meditation practice, and the preservation of the Buddha's teachings.
