Engineering a Sustainable Future!
About this Event
Join us for an inspiring and insightful morning focused on the future of sustainable engineering, innovation, and workforce development. This event brings together industry experts to explore how businesses can embrace new technologies, including AI, to drive productivity and sustainability.
During the morning, you’ll hear from a range of guest speakers, including Nick Hall, General Manager of Moog’s Aircraft Control Components facility in Tewkesbury. Nick leads a £100m+ aerospace manufacturing business with over 500 employees and recently oversaw its move to a £40 million, state-of-the-art facility. Drawing on his extensive experience across programme management, business development, and operations, Nick will share valuable insights into leadership, workforce development, and what drives a positive and productive workplace.
You’ll also hear from representatives from Worcestershire Growth Hub and Made Smarter, who will highlight the latest support available to help businesses innovate, grow, and adopt new technologies. Made Smarter, in particular, works with SMEs to adopt digital solutions that boost productivity, reduce environmental impact, and drive sustainable growth. Alongside this, Worcestershire Growth Hub will outline the wider business support on offer, including sustainability-focused initiatives such as Midland Net Zero and Sustainability West Midlands, as well as access to specialist consultancy support like Pro Enviro and Clean Tech, funded through Growth Hub or Worcestershire County Council.
